Why Focus on Teams?

You’ve probably seen the acronym “T.E.A.M. – Together Everyone Achieves More” over the years. Yes, maybe it’s something of a cliché at this stage, but research has repeatedly shown that it really is the case: working in teams produces better results.

One such source is Katzenbach & Smith, who wrote the book “The Wisdom of Teams”. In it, they describe a team as:

“A small number of people with complementary skills who are equally committed to a common purpose, performance goals and approach, for which they hold themselves mutually accountable.”

We’ve found that building a team like this is a lot easier said than done. If you want a high performing team, or even, for that matter, a good performing team, you’ll have to take steps to make it happen. The training below is a good place to start!
